Push the heavy-duty aluminum stake into soil, mulch, or a planting bed. No digging, no tools. Position the panel with a clear view of the sky and away from any porch light or street lamp, because the photocell will read nearby artificial light as daylight and refuse to switch on.

Use the included mount kit with the supplied screws and anchors. Wood decks, concrete, pavers, driveways, porch steps. A drill and a screwdriver. Nothing else, and nothing else to buy.
